A Little Reminder to Help Remain Calm

I am working on trying to stay a little more focused on the positive these days. I was thinking that I wanted to return to my blog when I had it all together. Whatever does that even mean? What good does it do to be all perfected and cleaned up when I am trying to reach people who are going through a tough time.

So going forward, I will try to be here more. I will try and be more honest. And most of all, I will try and remember all those things that I used to do when things were a little more relaxed in the world.

For now, my friend, try and remember this. It is the truth, just like it was when it was first written, and if you have to write it on the cover of every notebook, post it on every mirror and keep a screenshot on every device, it will be worth the effort, I’m certain of it. Until next time, I will leave you with this. It is the most common verse on my mind these days. Keep looking to Him. He has all the answers and He will always love you, no matter what.

Philippians 4:4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness[d] be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned[e] and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.¹
